The Working4Business partnership is delighted to present the area’s first Business Week, a week packed with events aimed at inspiring and supporting new and established businesses in West Dunbartonshire.

West Dunbartonshire Business Week offers a broad range of seminars and workshops covering many important issues for the local economy.

The Working4Business Partnership is keen to ensure that West Dunbartonshire Business Week offers a comprehensive range of events that will allow businesses to access the wide range of public and private sector support agencies, business experts and entrepreneurs to move their business forward and secure business success.

This seminar will help you understand what support is available to you if you would like to grow your business internationally. The Export Advisory Service is provided by Scottish Enterprise and offers advice and support for businesses looking to start exporting and also for existing exporting businesses looking to develop exports. Advice includes market information, technical support and possible funding support. 


 

BREWING UP BUSINESS: TAX AND FUNDING

This is a practical training session for owners and leaders of small and medium businesses. It will help you to be aware of the imminent changes to data protection legislation and the actions you need to consider. 

We’ll help you understand how a prioritised action plan can avoid unnecessary expenditure. There is no simple fix for compliance with the new regulations and each individual business needs to formulate its own objective plan for data protection.

A two part Business Start-Up Workshop incorporating: Business Planning, Finance, Marketing & Market Research. Over two consecutive courses, you will understand the need for a Business Plan in starting and running a successful business, be able to describe your business and learn how to present your plan. You will be able to manage a profit and loss account, produce a cash flow and understand the main sources of finance. You will be able to identify and complete the market research required to support your business plan.
